Hold a minimum of a Diploma (D3) in Nursing (Keperawatan) or a related medical field from a recognized and accredited institution, and must hold a valid license to practice (Surat Tanda Registrasi – STR) from the Indonesian Health Ministry.
Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience on a Drilling Rig, with at least 5 years of experience in the same position as a Paramedic, Rig Medic, or Medical Officer within the oil and gas drilling industry.
Possess active mandatory certifications relevant to offshore medical practice, including but not limited to: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), and other relevant emergency response and trauma care certifications.
Possess a valid General K3 Certificate (Sertifikat K3 Umum) issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia or an accredited certification body.
Possess a valid certificate in Hiperkes (Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health) as required by the Ministry of Manpower Regulation for paramedics in industrial settings.
Be willing to be placed at project sites and drilling locations according to operational needs.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Attend to medical accidents and care for sick personnel and crews on the Rigs and Work-Over-Units, providing primary healthcare, first aid, and emergency medical care to all workers on-site.
Act as the HSE Manager's adviser on all matters related to hospital services, staff health, health reporting, and the hygienic conditions at all clinics and sick bay facilities.
Check and secure that each crew has passed their medical examination before taking aboard, ensuring all personnel are fit for duty.
Respond to accidents and ill crew members promptly, providing trauma and medical care to injured and sick personnel.
Supervise all company Occupational Health personnel and ensure that company clinics are operated in accordance with best practices.
Ensure an adequate supply of medicines and other medical equipment on the rig and all other operated clinics.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of each crew member, including blood groups, allergies, medical history, and ensure records accompany personnel in the event of medical evacuation.
Conduct periodic review of medical policies and advise management on all medically related issues.
Plan and execute in-house training and development projects relating to health, medical awareness sessions, sanitation, and first aid.
Provide input on Site Specific Emergency Response Planning and participate in all emergency drills.
Operate and maintain the rig hospital, medical chest, and other medically related equipment.
Coordinate safety orientation sessions for all personnel arriving on the rig for the first time.
Perform weekly hygiene and safety inspections of all accommodations, toilets, public bathrooms, cabins, storerooms, and catering facilities.
Conduct regular inspection and servicing of eye wash stations, first aid kits, and emergency medical stations.
Ensure serviceability of all hospital and emergency medical equipment and take immediate steps to rectify any deficiencies.
Maintain good record keeping of medications and materials, check expiry dates, and prepare requisitions when required.
Maintain accurate records of controlled and dangerous drugs, ensure the security of these drugs, and submit updated records to the OIM / Captain on a monthly basis.
Liaise with local or international shore-based medical facilities as and when required for medical referrals and evacuations.

Knowledge of emergency response procedures, including medical evacuation (medevac) coordination with onshore medical facilities.

Proficiency in managing controlled and dangerous drugs, including accurate record-keeping and security procedures as required by Indonesian health regulations.
Ability to conduct random, reasonable cause, and post-incident on-site drug and alcohol testing.
Familiarity with emergency drills and participation in emergency response as designated on the station bill.
Knowledge of basic pharmacy, including the ability to prescribe effective medications within scope of practice.
Understanding of Indonesian occupational health and safety regulations, including Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety and Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health.

Prepare and submit routine health reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly medical reports, to management.
