Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience on a Drilling Rig, with at least 5 years of experience in the same position as an HSE Officer or a similar HSE role within the oil and gas drilling industry.
Possess active mandatory certifications required for HSE professionals in the oil and gas sector, including but not limited to the General K3 Certificate (Sertifikat K3 Umum) issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as relevant oil and gas industry certifications such as Basic Safety Training (BST), H2S Awareness, and other internationally recognized HSE certifications.
Hold a minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or a closely related field.
Be willing to be placed at project sites and drilling locations according to operational needs.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Act as the frontline HSE custodian at the rig and site, ensuring safe systems of work, hazard controls, regulatory compliance, and emergency readiness across all drilling, completion, production, and well intervention activities.
Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and local and international regulations, ensuring strict compliance with all applicable safety standards.
Administer the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, including verifying isolation plans, authorizing and closing permits for hot work, confined space, working at heights, electrical work, and SIMOPS, as well as conducting field PTW audits.
Facilitate and validate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and task risk assessments, confirming that controls for line-of-fire, dropped objects, pressure/energy release, and lifting operations are effective and understood by all personnel.
Lead pre-job and toolbox talks, reinforcing Life-Saving Rules and Stop-Work Authority (SWA), and coaching supervisors on safe task execution.
Conduct hazard identification (HAZID) walkdowns, maintain risk registers, track corrective actions, and ensure barriers for H2S, ignition sources, pressure testing, and simultaneous operations are in place.
Schedule and conduct atmospheric monitoring, including gas testing for H2S, LEL, O2, and CO for confined spaces and hot work, while maintaining calibration and bump-test records.
Verify lockout/tagout (LOTO) points, depressurization, zero-energy state, and stored energy dissipation prior to work commencement.
Execute daily and weekly inspections of the rig and site, including lifesaving appliances, fire systems, lifting gear, PPE, eyewash stations, and showers, and track findings to closure.
Induct personnel, verify qualifications, authorizations, and medicals, and align on bridging documents and interfaces for contractor HSE onboarding.
Plan and run emergency drills, including H2S release, well control support, man overboard, medevac, and fire drills, while maintaining muster and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) documentation.
Lead incident reporting and investigation, including immediate notifications, evidence preservation, and root cause analysis, registering learnings and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct structured behavioral safety observations, provide just-in-time coaching, and analyze trends to target interventions.
Support environmental safeguards, including spill prevention, waste segregation, and chemical handling compliance, escalating to environmental specialists when required.
