Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
Preferred Certifications and Training:
HAZOP Leader Certification.
Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) Training.
Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessment Training.
Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) Training.
Process Safety Management (PSM) Training.
Functional Safety Engineering Certification.
NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE certification.
Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation Training.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Process Safety Engineer in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
Experienced in conducting and facilitating HAZID, HAZOP, SIL Assessment, LOPA, QRA, Bow Tie Analysis, and other Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies.
Experienced in reviewing and developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Cause and Effect Diagrams, Fire and Gas Detection Philosophies, and Safety Design Basis documents.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Lead and perform process safety engineering activities for EPC oil and gas projects.
Conduct HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, QRA, and other process safety studies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Review engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, Cause and Effect Diagrams, and Process Safety Design documents.
Develop safety philosophies, fire and gas system requirements, emergency shutdown philosophies, and process safety recommendations.
Evaluate fire, explosion, toxic release, and other major hazard scenarios through consequence and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and international engineering standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate process safety requirements into project designs.
Support project execution, commissioning, and operational readiness activities related to process safety.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation for clients and management.
Participate in incident investigations and provide technical recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Harus punya keterampilan:
Strong understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and risk-based engineering methodologies.
Familiar with international codes, standards, and recommended practices, including API, ASME, IEC, ISO, NFPA, OSHA PSM, and CCPS guidelines.
Knowledge of flow assurance, consequence modeling, fire and explosion analysis, and risk mitigation strategies is highly desirable.
Proficient in process safety software such as PHAST, PHA-Pro, Safeti, Aspen HYSYS, Flaresim, or equivalent tools.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, communication, and technical report writing skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
