- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure proper preventive measures are in place.
- Ensure compliance with government safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the construction site and equipment.
- Identify unsafe practices and conditions, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure availability on site.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes.
- Liaise with local authorities regarding safety inspections and audits.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining safety certifications required for the project.
- Ensure that all safety documentation, such as permits, hazard reports, and inspection logs, is properly maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance and incidents.
Harus punya keterampilan:
- Good command in written and oral English.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
