Education Minimum: High school diploma or vocational/technical school (preferably mechanical/civil background).
Experience Minimum 5 years as a scaffolder, including 2–3 years in supervisory or lead roles within the Oil & Gas sector.
Certifications Mandatory:
• Scaffolding Level 2 or 3 (National Certification).
• Working at Height.
• Basic Safety Training (BST).
Medically fit, non-color blind, physically capable of working at heights and in offshore/onshore environments.
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Supervision & Execution: Supervise daily scaffolding operations – installation, modification, dismantling – ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
Workforce Management: Lead a team of scaffolders and helpers, ensuring productivity, discipline, and compliance.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce all scaffolding activities in accordance with OSHA, API, CISRS/OPITO, and project HSE requirements.
Scaffold Inspection: Conduct pre-use and routine inspections; ensure scaffold tags (Green, Yellow, Red) are accurate and up-to-date.
Coordination with Other Disciplines: Liaise with construction teams, maintenance, rigging, and QA/QC for scaffolding access needs.
Permit & Work Pack Review: Validate job scope, work packs, method statements, and risk assessments before work begins.
Training & Development: Mentor junior scaffolders and ensure continuous awareness of safety procedures.
Emergency Response Support: Provide immediate scaffold-related support in emergency shutdowns or rescue operations.
Reporting: Submit daily reports, progress updates, safety observations, and manpower logs to Site Manager or Project Lead.

Reading and interpreting technical scaffolding drawings and layout plans.

Ensuring compliance with project-specific safety regulations and hazard identification protocols.
Managing scaffold tagging systems, permit-to-work (PTW), and safety documentation.
Coordinating with engineers, construction leads, and HSE teams.
Estimating material requirements and monitoring scaffold inventory control.
