Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of active HSE experience, with at least 2 years specifically assigned to offshore vessels, marine seismic acquisition (2D/3D/4D), or hydrographic survey operations.
Physical Fitness: Must hold a valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate (e.g., OGUK/MIGAS standard) and be physically fit to work in demanding offshore marine environments for extended rotation periods.
Core Value: Strong capability to enforce maritime safety codes, handle remote-site emergency responses, and manage multicultural crews.
Certifications (Industry Standards):
Mandatory Offshore Safety: Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) or FOET with EBS/CA-EBS.
Marine & Seafaring: Valid STCW certifications (including BST - Basic Safety Training) and a registered Seaman’s Book (Buku Pelaut).
Professional OHS: Holding recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, K3 Migas (Pengawas K3 Migas), or Ahli K3 Umum.
Preferred: Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) or Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) training is highly advantageous for seismic projects.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
HSE Compliance Oversight: Champion and monitor the implementation of project-specific HSE plans, maritime safety regulations, and client-mandated safety standards on the seismic vessel.
Incident Reporting: Investigate all near-misses, hazards, injuries, or marine environmental spills immediately; perform root-cause analysis and submit timely reports to the HSE Superintendent.
Environmental Stewardship: Monitor waste management, fuel/chemical handling, and ensure minimal impact on marine life during acoustic seismic source firing.
Document Control: Maintain up-to-date onboard safety logs, safety induction records for newly boarded personnel, and sub-contractor compliance trackers.
Harus punya keterampilan:
Seismic Operation Awareness: Strong familiarity with offshore seismic operations, stream deployment, chasing boat coordination, and marine navigation safety rules (COLREGs).
Risk Management: Proficient in drafting project-specific HIRADC, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and executing structural Permit to Work (PTW) audits on board.
Emergency Response: Proficient in offshore incident investigation methodologies (e.g., TapRooT or Tripod Beta) and marine evacuation drills.
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English, essential for coordinating with international maritime crews and writing client-side HSE reports.
