Must possess valid certifications related to pollution control operations for air, water, and hazardous waste (B3), issued by an accredited institution or the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, demonstrating competence in managing environmental compliance and operational controls.
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Environmental Staff member or in a similar environmental role within settings such as a power plant (PLTU), smelter, construction project, or EPC contractor environment.
Willing to be placed at the jobsite in Bulungan, North Kalimantan, under a roster system, with the ability to adapt to remote site conditions and work schedules.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Environment Staff is responsible for supporting environmental management activities and ensuring compliance with HSE (K3), energy safety (K2), and housekeeping standards across all Kaltara Projects. The role includes conducting HSE talks, implementing environmental improvement programs, monitoring and maintaining pollution control equipment, preparing routine reports, developing programs to prevent environmental impacts, conducting environmental awareness sessions for employees and partners, updating environmental documents and procedures, and supporting communication through meetings, training, and other project activities.
Support environmental management activities and ensure compliance with HSE (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja), energy safety (K2), and housekeeping standards across all Kaltara Projects.
Conduct HSE Talks regularly across all project sites according to schedule, ensuring active participation from all employees and contractors.
Implement continuous improvement programs related to environmental management, identifying opportunities for enhanced environmental performance.
Monitor, inspect, maintain, and procure pollution control equipment for air, noise, solid waste, and liquid waste management systems.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports related to environmental activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
Develop and implement programs to prevent environmental impacts caused by operational activities, including spill prevention, waste reduction, and emission control initiatives.
Conduct environmental management and monitoring outreach for both internal staff and external partners, raising awareness of environmental responsibilities and best practices.
Review, update, and maintain environmental regulations, procedures, and documents to ensure all practices remain aligned with current legal requirements.
Ensure effective communication through meetings, training sessions, awareness campaigns, and related activities to foster a strong environmental culture.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies on environmental compliance matters.
Escalate field issues and non-compliance findings to management promptly, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Support internal and external environmental audits by preparing documentation and facilitating audit activities.
Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental permit applications and renewals as required.
Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring data, incident reports, and corrective action tracking.

In-depth understanding of environmental regulations in Indonesia, including Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, Ministry of Environment and Forestry regulations on air and water quality standards, and hazardous waste (B3) management regulations.
Practical knowledge of pollution control equipment operations, including air emission control systems (scrubbers, baghouses, electrostatic precipitators), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP/IPAL), and hazardous waste storage and treatment facilities.
Ability to monitor, inspect, maintain, and procure pollution control equipment for air, noise, solid waste, and liquid waste management.
Expertise in environmental sampling and monitoring techniques for air quality, water quality, noise levels, and waste generation, including the use of monitoring instruments and proper sample collection procedures.
Familiarity with environmental documentation and reporting requirements, including the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual environmental reports for management and regulatory submission.
Knowledge of environmental impact prevention programs and the ability to develop and implement programs to mitigate operational environmental impacts.
Ability to review, update, and maintain environmental regulations, procedures, and documents to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulatory requirements.
Understanding of the PROPER (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup) evaluation system and its criteria for environmental performance assessment.
Proficiency in using environmental management software and databases for data recording and reporting.
