Experience : Extensive experience as an HSE Manager, preferably within the marine, offshore, or shipyard industry.
Qualifications: Relevant HSE certifications, A degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.

Policy and Program Development: Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and
emergency response plans tailored to marine operations, which may include shipyard activities, offshore projects, or fleet management.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, such as the ISM Code and MARPOL Convention, as well as local OSHA or other government body requirements.
Risk Management: Conduct reguler site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Develop and Implement control measures and mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
Incident Management: Lead the investigation of all incidents, accidents, and near misses. Analyze root causes and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and Awareness: Organize and deliver HSE training programs, awareness campaigns, and safety drills (e.g..
firefighting, crowd control, man overboard procedures) for both sea going crews and shore-based staff.
Emergency Preparedness: Ensure all vessels and facilities are prepared for emergencies, including maintaining emergency response documentation and testing procedures through regular drills.
Environmental Stewardship: Monitor environmental impacts, ensure proper waste management and pollution prevention measures are in place, and track KPIs related to waste and energy consumption.
Liaison and Reporting: Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders on HSE matters. Prepare and submit required reports, metrics, and documentation.
Safety Culture Promotion: Promote a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging all
employees to adopt safe behaviors and report potential issues.
