Kualifikasi:

Karawang, Indonesia | ⏳ 3-month contract | 📑 Indonesian passport holder.
We’re looking for someone with HSE experience in construction/industrial projects to support the commissioning & start-up of paper & board machines and boilers.
Bachelor’s in Engineering / HSE preferred | NEBOSH/IOSH a plus.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab

HSE Compliance & Implementation: Enforce company HSE policies, standards, and procedures at the site. Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and international HSE standards. Monitor contractors’ adherence to safety rules and corrective actions.
Risk Management & Safety Control: Identify hazards related to commissioning & start-up of paper machines and boilers. Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and permits to work are implemented effectively. Supervise high-risk activities (lifting, hot work, confined space entry, pressure testing).
Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct daily HSE inspections and issue reports with corrective action tracking. Prepare weekly/monthly HSE performance reports for management. Investigate incidents, prepare RCA reports, and implement preventive measures.
Emergency Preparedness & Response: Support the development and execution of emergency response drills. Ensure site readiness for fire, explosion, chemical exposure, or medical emergencies. Act as first point of contact during site emergencies until higher command arrives.
Training & Awareness: Deliver HSE induction and toolbox talks to employees and contractors. Promote a strong safety culture across the project site. Mentor junior HSE staff and ensure knowledge transfer.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Construction Manager, Commissioning Manager, and Contractors to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into daily activities. Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and client representatives on HSE matters.

Harus punya keterampilan:

Key tasks: safety inspections, work permits, toolbox talks, incident investigation, and HSE reporting.
Technical HSE Skills: Hazard identification & risk assessment (HIRA, JSA, PTW system). Safety management in commissioning & start-up activities (rotating machines, pressure vessels, boilers). Emergency response planning and coordination. Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), confined space entry, hot work, and energy isolation. Accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Operational & Supervisory Skills: Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with site safety rules. Conducting site inspections, audits, and safety walkdowns. Ensuring proper documentation of permits, toolbox talks, and safety drills. Coordinating with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to mitigate HSE risks.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and leadership to influence safe behavior across multinational teams. Problem-solving and decision-making under time pressure. Detail-oriented with proactive safety mindset. Ability to train and motivate workers on HSE awareness.
