Kualifikasi:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical experience in industrial water treatment plant operations, preferably within Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting water quality analysis, including precise measurement and evaluation of pH, Iron (Fe), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and other critical parameters.
- Proven technical experience in chemical dosing, chemical solution mixing, and the practical application of Biocide and Oxygen Scavenger treatments.
- Certifications: Certified Chemical Handling Officer / K3 Kimia (Kemnaker RI) or Hazardous Waste Management (PLB3) certification is highly preferred. General OHS Expert (Ahli K3 Umum) or First Aid (P3K) certification is a strong advantage. Vocational competency certificate in Industrial Water/Wastewater Treatment Operation (BNSP) is disukai.
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
- Operates, inspects, and maintains industrial water treatment facilities, chemical feed systems, filtration units, and dosing pumps in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Performs daily laboratory and field testing of raw, treated, and process water parameters, accurately measuring pH, Iron (Fe), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), hardness, conductivity, chlorine residual, and total dissolved solids (TDS).
- Calculates, prepares, mixes, and executes chemical dosing processes, specifically applying Biocide, Oxygen Scavenger, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, and coagulants safely and efficiently.
- Interprets analytical water test results, diagnoses chemical imbalances or biological fouling, and adjusts chemical feed rates to maintain water parameters within target technical specifications.
- Monitors chemical inventory, ensures proper labeling and safe storage of hazardous chemicals, and inspects secondary containment bunds in compliance with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS / SDS) requirements.
- Maintains, calibrates, and cleans online monitoring sensors, laboratory equipment, chemical dosing pumps, piping manifolds, and sampling points to prevent system clogging or mechanical failures.
- Complies with site Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, prepares Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for chemical handling, utilizes appropriate chemical-resistant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and manages hazardous waste (B3) generated from treatment operations.
- Compiles, records, and submits daily water quality logsheets, chemical consumption reports, maintenance records, and safety inspection logs to the Technical Supervisor and HSSE Team.
