Health & Safety Implementation:
Ensure that all employees and contractors follow HSE rules and SOPs across all production activities.
Monitor safe machine operation, ergonomic work positions, chemical handling, and fire safety systems.
Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all risk areas.
Risk Management & Investigation:
Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment, facilities, and work practices.
Identify unsafe acts and conditions; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Lead or assist in incident/accident investigations and maintain accurate documentation.
Training & Awareness:
Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and refresher training sessions.
Organize HSE campaigns and awareness programs.
Train new hires during orientation on workplace safety.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date safety logs, incident records, inspection reports, and environmental data.
Assist in external audits and regulatory inspections.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements for waste disposal, emissions, hazardous materials, etc.
Continuous Improvement:
Support the implementation of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / SMK3.
Suggest practical safety improvements to reduce risks or streamline processes.
Work closely with other departments to align HSE with production and maintenance needs.

Technical Skills:
Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001.
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC)
Conducting internal HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations
Emergency response planning and drills
Understanding of chemical/material safety, MSDS, PPE, and confined space entry
Reporting to government and regulatory bodies (e.g., environmental reports, accident logs)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit-to-Work (PTW)
Soft Skills:
Fluent in English, Mandarin speaker will be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for safety training and staff engagement.
Critical thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Leadership in enforcing safety standards without compromising collaboration.
Teamwork and initiative to support continuous improvement.
