Tugas & Tanggung Jawab

Safety Oversight During Seismic Operations: Monitor all seismic activities including deployment, towing, retrieval of streamers and air gun arrays. Ensure compliance with HSE protocols during vessel operations, deck work, and equipment handling. Verify all safety-critical equipment is functioning properly (air guns, compressors, emergency systems, PPE).
Risk Management & Hazard Control: Conduct HAZID/HAZOP and daily toolbox meetings for seismic teams and deck crews. Review and enforce Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for high-risk tasks. Identify potential hazards (entanglement, high-pressure systems, slips/trips, heavy lift operations).
PTW System & Procedures: Manage and monitor the Permit-to-Work system during seismic operations. Ensure proper isolation, tagging, and communication with vessel command (OIM/Master). Oversee SIMOPS when coordinating with support vessels or helicopter operations.
Emergency Preparedness: Conduct emergency drills (fire, man-overboard, abandon ship, medical evacuation). Ensure the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is understood by all personnel. Act as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Incident Investigation & Reporting: Lead or assist in investigating HSE incidents using proper methodologies (5-Why, RCA, Fishbone). Communicate findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports to the client and company HSE management.
Training & Safety Awareness: Conduct safety inductions for all new personnel onboard. Provide continuous coaching on safe work practices, equipment handling, and hazard recognition. Promote a strong safety culture aligned with IOGP life-saving rules.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure operations adhere to national and international offshore safety regulations. Maintain proper records of inspections, permits, equipment status, and training logs. Assist in external audits and client HSE reviews.

Harus punya keterampilan:

Knowledge Requirements: Familiar with offshore HSE regulatory requirements (SKK Migas, IMO, IOGP, OHSAS/ISO 45001). Strong understanding of seismic equipment and associated risks Streamers, air guns, compressors, tail buoy systems, winches, ROVs. Knowledge of Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and SIMOPS. Competent in hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessment, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Technical Skills: Ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and monitoring onboard seismic vessels. Strong ability to develop and implement HSE plans, bridging documents, and risk registers. Competent in incident investigation and reporting (root cause analysis). Skilled in monitoring critical seismic operations such as line changes, gear deployment, and retrieval. Proficiency in safety documentation and report preparation for client and regulatory submission.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, able to influence safe behavior in a diverse crew. Able to work under high-pressure offshore environments with long rotating schedules. Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to hazard control. High integrity, discipline, and commitment to safety excellence.
