Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable university.
Minimum 9 years of experience in Process Safety Engineering for major Engineering Consultancy or EPC Oil & Gas projects.
Having experience in flow assurance projects, specifically interfacing flow assurance dynamics with overpressure protection and relief system designs.
Deep expertise in international process safety codes and standards, including API 520/521/14C, NFPA, IEC 61508/61511, and CCPS guidelines.
Proven track record as a technical safety lead or facilitator in HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA studies.

Certifications:
Certified HAZOP/HAZID Study Chairman or Facilitator certification.
TÜV Rheinland or Exida Functional Safety Engineer (FS Eng) / Functional Safety Expert certification in Safety Instrumented Systems.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Lead and facilitate major design-phase safety workshops, including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL Assessment/Verification, LOPA, and SIMOPS.
Perform technical safety calculations, including fire and explosion modeling, gas dispersion analysis, flare system design reviews, and thermal radiation studies.
Manage and develop design safety deliverables, such as Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) schedules, Fire and Gas (F&G) detector layouts, firewater demand calculations, and Passive Fire Protection (PFP) specifications.
Integrate technical safety requirements with flow assurance findings, ensuring overpressure protection, surge analysis mitigations, and hydrate/slugging safety boundaries are embedded in design.
Evaluate process relief systems, safety valve (PSV) sizing, blowdown requirements, and emergency shutdown (ESD) philosophies.
Review process design documentation, PFDs, P&IDs, and cause-and-effect matrices to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, NFPA, API, and client safety standards.
Provide technical guidance to junior safety engineers and interface directly with clients, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
