Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Certification:
General Occupational Health and Safety Expert (Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia) – mandatory. Supporting certifications: ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System, ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System, Hazardous Waste Management, Fire Safety, Chemical Handling, Environmental Audit, Battery Safety & High Voltage Awareness (a significant plus).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Specialist in the automotive, electronics, battery, or large-scale manufacturing industries.
Tugas & Tanggung Jawab
Factory Operational Safety:
Identify risks across the entire production line: batteries, assembly, internal logistics, and testing areas.
Monitor compliance with PPE use, the LOTO system, automatic fire extinguishers, and access control to HV areas.
Environmental Management:
Monitor and ensure optimal operation of the wastewater treatment system (WWTP), solid and hazardous waste management, emission and noise monitoring, energy efficiency, and pollution control.
HSE Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare safety reports, incident reporting, near-miss reports, internal audits, and corrective action monitoring (CAPA).
Support audits by ISO, government agencies, and global EV buyers/partners.
HSE Training & Culture:
Implement training programs on battery safety, chemical handling, fire drills, first aid, and ergonomics.
Promote a "Zero Accident" and Green Factory culture through internal campaigns and visual signage.
Coordination & Compliance:
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams in risk control on new projects.
Ensure all activities follow national and international regulatory standards.

Technical Competencies:
Understanding of safety aspects in lithium-ion battery assembly, automated welding, stamping, painting, and EV testing, as well as high-voltage zones and fire hazards due to thermal runaway.
Able to develop and implement HIRADC, JSA, K3L SOPs, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Emergency Response Plans (ERP), and B3 waste management programs (electrolytes, solvents, paints), factory emissions, and industrial wastewater treatment.
Mastery of UKL-UPL (Environmental Management Plan), RKL-RPL (Environmental Impact Assessment and Management Plan), K3L reporting to the Environment Agency (DLH), the Manpower Office (Disnaker), and external auditors, as well as reporting environmental and safety performance indicators (KPIs, lagging and leading indicators).
Managerial and Behavioral Competencies:
Detail-oriented, sensitive to environmental and technical changes.
Able to work across departments: production, engineering, maintenance, HR, R&D, and procurement.
Communicative and proactive in delivering safety warnings and training to all levels of the workforce.
