Kualifikasi:

Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, OR
Master's degree and five (5) years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, OR Some post-secondary education and 10 years of experience in health & safety or field construction plus five (5) years of health and safety experience in the construction industry, including three years in a supervisory capacity
Experience with metal mining construction projects, especially with regards to safety.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab

Under general direction plan, organize, manage and control the industrial hygiene and safety programs and systems for an assigned project.
Essential Functions.
Develop, implement, and assess industrial hygiene and safety programs.
Direct, develop, and monitor occupational health and safety practices for the project.
Report unsafe/unhealthy conditions and make recommendation to appropriate project management for correction.
Oversee or investigate and maintain records of accidents as required by law.
Ensure that all training mandated by MSHA, OSHA or other body is provided and updated as appropriate, Serve as primary contact with MSHA, OSHA or other regulatory bodies.
Contribute to project strategic planning and budgeting efforts for health and safety systems and issues.
Evaluate and contract with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable programs, practices and existing/proposed local, State and Federal regulations.
Budgetary responsibility: Has no budgetary responsibility
Provide leadership and work direction, and evaluate the performance of subordinate health and safety staff.
Nature of work: Works on complex issues and implements solutions mostly through the determination of strategy and delegation to others in a group or functional area.
Level of interaction: Often collaborates with managers and/or functional or site leaders and interacts with external EPC or EPCM colleagues. Autonomy/decision making: Works under moderate supervision and has some latitude to set objectives, priorities and timelines that may impact department or individual work group
Managerial responsibility: Manages a specific program or project and may supervise people.

Harus punya keterampilan:

Language Skills, Certifications and/or Training
Fluency in English and Bahasa
Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen and to adapt behavior and communication style based upon the audience
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Skill in developing and implementing safety practices, and recognizing, controlling and/or eliminating hazards Ability to build trust and credibility with employees/peers and establish common goals and expectations Preferred Education and Experience:
